IRELAND’S FIRST D&D KICKSTARTER LAUNCHED

For Immediate Release

CARLOW, IRELAND July 30th 2019 – Ireland’s first Dungeons & Dragon Kickstarter was launched today by craft and tabletop gaming shop Dakota Irish. Their new Dragon’s Breath Kickstarter campaign is inspired by the dragons featured in 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons and seeks to create new, innovate, and exclusive resin dice for tabletop gamers and D&D enthusiasts alike. D&D has quickly gained renewed popularity in recent years due to the success of shows like Stranger Things, Big Bang Theory, and most recently Critical Role.

“The success of Critical Role’s recent Kickstarter to fund their Vox Machina animation inspired me to start our first campaign,” said Luke McIntosh, owner & craftsman at Dakota Irish.  “I think it proved that the renewed popularity of D&D and other tabletop games is not an isolated incident and proves that there is a space for consumer backed projects like ours.”

The campaign seeks to raise €25k to fund it's new dice products and also offers backers a chance to pledge for Campaign Rewards such as 3D printed accessories, handcrafted props, and artisan wooden accessories - all made by Luke in his studio in rural Carlow.  The campaign ends at 2pm IST on September 3rd, 2019.  You can find out more about this campaign and/or back it at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/advantagedice/dragons-breath-dice-by-dakota-irish
